What are your favourite classic production themes used by WWF or WCW whether it be for a promo package, intro or a PPV theme? The music they use in them just doesn't give me chills down my spine like these classic production themes did, they don't sound epic and get me pumped for the following match/show. When I watch a PPV intro/promo package from today, they do nothing for me. I wish WWE would bring back these themes for their current intros/promos. There were also themes that WWF and WCW both used for promo packages, PPV intros and as PPV themes, which they did with the above three themes.Īnyway, I've posted enough themes and there are loads more great production themes from the 90's/early 2000's. The Wrestlemania 15 theme which I personally loved. The In Your House: St Valentine's Day Massacre PPV theme and PPV theme for the Rebellion or Insurrextion PPV's. Austin's First Blood match at Fully Loaded 1999 and was used for the PPV intro of Backlash 1999 where they hype up Austin vs. The No Way Out 2000 theme and was also used for the pre-match promo of Undertaker vs. It had that dark creepy like vibe like something dangerous was about to happen, which was perfect for the tone they wanted to send out to the viewers to not try it at home. The original "Don't Try This At Home" promo theme. This song is the perfect hype song for the Royal Rumble match as it gets you pumped and ready for the match. This was used as the PPV theme for the 1998 Royal Rumble and also used in the 2001 Royal Rumble pre-match promo. Used for the 1998 Royal Rumble PPV intro. I remember this production theme mostly being used for promo packages that involved Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. This dark creepy theme was used for the Summerslam 1997 intro which featured Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker and talked about how life was unfair for all three of them. So beautiful and emotional at the same time. This was also used on Cause Stone Cold Said So! when they were showing highlights of Austin's Quarter-Final match with Marc Mero at the 1996 King Of The Ring. Shawn Michaels at In Your House: Good Friends Better Enemies aswell as others and it was also used on the Cause Stone Cold Said So! VHS. Vince and Shane at King Of The Ring 1999, Diesel vs. Used in the pre-match promo packages for Austin vs. Triple H at Judgement Day 2000 and some other pre-match promos. Rock at In Your House: D-Generation X, Rock vs. Undertaker at Wrestlemania 14, Austin vs. This was used for the pre-match promo packages of Kane vs. This was used in the Royal Rumble 1999 pre-match promo and for some other pre-match promo packages. It captured the destructive nature of their Hell in a Cell match, like a war was about to take place. Undertaker's Hell in a Cell match at In Your House: Bad Blood. I believe this was used for a promo of Shawn vs. These two above were used in Undertaker and Kane promos during their 1997-1998 feud. They perfectly captured the mood of a feud and sucked you in for the PPV and matches you were about to see. The production themes they used back in the 90's and early 2000's for their PPV intros, promo packages and PPV themes, they were epic and gave me so much goosebumps whenever I watched a PPV intro or a promo video. So lately I've been listening to a lot of old WWF production themes from the 90's and early 2000's, there are actually a couple of YouTube channels that have been created just to upload old production themes and PPV themes, one of them is this channel which I have subscribed to.
